Berlin ExpoCenter Airport

Berlin ExpoCenter Airport

In autumn 2010 the construction of the Berlin Expo Center Airport was decided. Very close to the future major airport Berlin Brandenburg (BER), the new outdoor area of the Messe Berlin was created. The launch coincided with the opening of the ILA Berlin Air Show on September 11, 2012.

Spacious open areas, column-free halls, large-scale parking facilities and flexibility are the basis of the new ExpoCenter Airport concept. The organizers will be offered a lot of space for exceptional exhibition ideas and events.

The direct connection to the airport and the inner city circle, as well as extensive event service achievements offer especially national and international guests ideal conditions for an efficient trade fair visit.

Facts to the fairgrounds

129.000 m² open areas and 3 halls with over 20.000m² column-free space.
The roof of each hall is held by a steel roof structure at a distance of 6 m.
On this system, suspension points can be mounted in variable intervals (approximately every 4 m).

All three halls are accessible from the central road. On the ground floor are the entrance hall, the toilet facilities, information counter and the first aid room. On the first floor are offices, meeting rooms, equipment rooms and the toilet facilities.

All halls can be heated and cooled central.
The high and low voltage connections can be introduced from the side of the hall on the ground channels (via lid in the bottom panel).
