The radio tower viewing platform is closed.
The radio tower (Funkturm-Restaurant and observation deck) is closed due to renovation work.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the radio tower, extensive renovation measures are planned to preserve the historic structure and prepare it for the future. The planned renovation includes both the restoration of the supporting structure and the modernization of the technical infrastructure. The radio tower is to be preserved as a technical monument, a tourist attraction, and an architectural highlight.
The renovation work is expected to take place from May 5th to until mid-November, 2025. During this period, the radio tower will unfortunately remain closed to visitors.
We look forward to presenting the radio tower in its new splendor after the renovation is completed and cordially invite you!
Please note that both the Funkturm-Restaurant and the Funkturm Observation Deck will be closed during this time.

A toilet for the disabled is located in the Funkturm-Lounge at the basement.
The restaurant in 55 meters height allows two wheelchair users at the same time.
The access to the observation deck is not possible for wheelchairs due to reasons of space.
